patriotic angel

PATRIOTIC ANGEL

She has her feathered wings
And she's dressed in red, white and blue.
She loves her country and all it's glory
This patriotic angel is old glory through and through.

She is there to help the troops
And whisper in their ears.
To keep fighting for their cause
As she's done throughout the years.

She's there when the country is in pain
And when a tragedy has struck.
This patriotic angel lends a hand
Bringing love and good luck.

So as you look upon the flag
See if you can find the angel there
The gentle breeze lightly blowing
Is really the wind in her hair.
